About Me

I am a fourth year Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) student at the University of Technology Sydney, specialising in Mechanical Engineering. I thrive on transforming ideas into practical solutions through creativity, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Inspired by my parents, who were born and raised in Sri Lanka, I recognise the value of opportunity and aim to use engineering to make a meaningful difference. My internship at JHA Consulting Engineers taught me to adapt to professional environments and learn from experienced engineers, while my capstone project designing wings for a lightweight, high-endurance remote-controlled aircraft strengthened my resilience, teamwork, and trust in the engineering process.

Beyond university, I am involved in the UTS Motorsport and Sri Lankan societies, play Division D basketball, and previously tutored primary school students in mathematics and science. These experiences have strengthened my communication, collaboration, and commitment to helping others. Hardworking, driven, and team oriented, I aspire to pursue a career in the European or Asian automotive industry, contributing to the development of innovative, high performance vehicles. I invite you to explore my portfolio, discover the projects and experiences shaping my engineering journey, and join me as I work towards turning my passion for automotive engineering into real-world impact.
